Large Animal Management Course Information:
This course is designed to help students utilize the biological principles of animal production to influence the animal management decisions. It will focus on the management of animals as a food source through dairy, red meat, and poultry production. Students will become educated consumers of animal products as a result of taking this course. This course will highlight the FFA Livestock Management, Meats Evaluation, Livestock Selection, Dairy Selection, and Horse Evaluation events. **Offered in alternating years.
Prerequisite: Sophomore, Junior or Senior status, Animal Science is recommended.
