This curriculum emphasizes the major components of the agricultural, food, fiber, & natural resources systems. This course will prepare students to make informed decisions of the program of study in which they are interested. This course will allow students to experience seven agricultural pathways: Agribusiness, Animal, Plant, Natural Resources, Environmental, Food Processing, and Power, Structural, & Mechanical Systems through hands on laboratory experiences. It will introduce students to the Agricultural Education Model of Classroom/Lab Instruction, Supervised Agricultural Experiences, and FFA. Highlighted in the course are several FFA events including Public Speaking, Floral Design, Animal Evaluation, Food Science, Parliamentary Procedure, Natural Resources, and many others.
