Advanced Agricultural Studies Course Information:
This course allows students to continue studying a specific topic learned in one of the basic level courses. Because it is set up as an advanced study, students must have received a C or above in the base course and be responsible as well as self-motivated to work on their project of choice. Outcomes of this course may include Agriscience Fair research projects; demonstrations, advanced landscape or floral designs, planning and executing educational experiences for youth and/or adults, etc. Students will be exposed to a large variety of FFA events and competitions.
Prerequisite: Junior or Senior status. Base course focusing on intended area of study such as Landscape Design, Floriculture, Plant Science, Companion Animals, Large Animal Management, Agribusiness, Ag Sales, Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Vet Science.
